What got you into dodgeball?
3 years ago, a few friends helped me organize a charity tournament called Dodging For Wishes that benefit Make-A-Wish Arizona. After the success of the tournament, and seeing how much fun everyone was having, I decided to join the local dodgeball league and it’s been an incredible experience. Everyone in dodgeball is so fun and inviting!

What do you like about dodgeball?
Aside from the competitiveness, I really love the social aspect of it—meeting new friends and going to the bar after open gyms and events. It is also a great work out since I don’t like going to the gym.

What is your dodgeball “resume?”

  • I received the Best Dodger Award at Phoenix Dodgeball 2017 Fall Season
  • My team “Dodging for Harambe” won the 2017 Spring Season for Skyline [a dodgeball league that is no longer active]

What sports did you do in high school?
I played tennis throughout high school and finished my senior year as the #1 player at Mesquite High School in Gilbert.

What is your occupation?
I have a passion for telling stories, photography and wanting to see the world differently. I’ve worked on many films in the past, including Bourne Legacy and What Maisie Knew. Currently I am a Cinematographer & Editor at Relentless, Inc, working on a range of national clients from Make-A-Wish® Foundation to Massage Envy.

Why did you want to be involved in Cactus Dodgeball?
I love playing dodgeball, and I want to help continue grow the dodgeball community in Arizona. I love interacting with people, and being able to help with the social media and marketing aspect really appealed to me.

When you are not playing dodgeball, what are some of your other interests?
I love to travel! I like going to different places around the world and trying out their street food. When I’m not playing dodgeball, I am playing kickball, volleyball or tennis.
