RULE REFRESHER / COMMONLY ASKED RULES
The defensive player is safe in the event of a headshot at standing/athletic positions – the thrower is out.
Headshot immunity: If a headshot is part of a cluster of thrown balls, the player is immune to all thrown balls.
A catch off of a teammate is not a save, the player is still out but the catch counts and the thrower is out.
No Momentum catches.
Due to the size of the ball, fingers/hands are NOT considered part of the ball when blocking. If you block and it hits your hand, that is an out.
Multiple outs per ball.
Tournament will be double-elimination, best of 3 or 35 minutes (depending on time, this is subject to change).
No suicides.
Soft lines, you may be on the line but not over it.
Balls and body must clear the attack/clear line on the rush.
Traps are safe, no catch nor is it an out on traps.
Players must have full control, two feet inbounds, and at least one hand on the ball for it to be considered a catch.
Please respect the refs decision, this is a charity event and all refs are volunteers. Let's just have fun!
