SCHEDULE + AFTERPARTY
Saturday, December 7

09:00 am Check-in/warmup

10:00 am Round Robin games start promptly

  • 8-minute rounds (no overtime, just however many games can be completed), with 2 minutes in between rounds.

  • Games will wrap up around 2pm

02:15 pm Double Elimination Tournament

  • Seeding will be determined by individual games won, then total rounds won to break up ties

  • Best of 5

06:00 pm Awards, after-party and appetizers at Boulders on Southern

COMMONLY ASKED RULES

  • For all Triwizard Cup rules, click here.

  • Headshots: Thrower and player is safe if the player takes a headshot and is on 2 points of contact

  • Blocking: Fingers/hands are out

  • Opening Rush: Both feet and ball must clear the behind the attack-line before it is considered a live ball

  • Momentum catches: If the catcher maintains control of the ball with two feet in before falling out of bounds, they are safe 

  • Burden - Order of Possession: 

    • At the beginning of a set, the team that won the last set is obliged to throw first

    • The team with more balls is obliged to throw (7 balls on the court, this will be the main determination for burden)
